THE FAITH-REST LIFE

In Hebrews 3:7 the Holy Spirit says to us:

"Listen to God's voice. Don't harden your heart

or rebel against Him. Don't doubt Him, these

only serve to fire His anger. Unbelief only leads

you further away from God not towards Him."

(Paraphrase - The Passion Translation)

He encourages us to "search our hearts every

day and make sure you do not have evil or

unbelief hiding in your heart for it will lead

you astray." (Paraphrase of Hebrews 3:12 PTP)

God offers to us the promise of a life of rest

as we rest in confident faith in Him. He urges

us to seek rest in Him and not to fail to

experience that rest. (Hebrews 4: 1-2 PTP)

There is a full and complete "rest" waiting for

believers to experience. So cling in faith to all

you know to be true. Jesus Christ, the Son of

God sympathizes with us in our frailty.

Jesus understands for He was tempted in every

way just as we are and He conquered sin. So

come and receive mercy's kiss and discover

the grace you need to strengthen you in your

time of weakness." (Hebrews 4: 15 TPT)

Jesus is our King-Priest forever!
