EXPLOSION OF FORGIVENESS

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" Romans 8:1

If you have accepted Christ as your Savior, He will never condemn you (declare you guilty) even when you sin. He is on your side. He takes your part. If and when you sin, He is your advocate (one who speaks on your behalf) to God the Father. He reminds the Father that He, Christ, has paid the price for your forgiveness of sins. God, the Father accepts Christ's work of redemption. You are pronounced 'not guilty.'

Why? Because Jesus paid the price for your sins on the cross.

The TRUTH is God's anger and judgment for all your sins have been exhausted on the

body of Jesus when He hung on the cross. That's what the cross is all about!

However, many Christians condemn themselves. They talk badly about themselves saying

and wondering how could God forgive such a wretched person like me. I am always failing

Him. I don't know why God saved such a wicked person as myself . . . and so on.

These accusations used against yourself is self condemnation. Instead of accepting God's

forgiveness that is bought and paid for by Christ, you pronounce yourself guilty. Don't condemn yourself. Just believe what God says.

When you are saved, God transfers his righteousness (the state of being right with God)

to you and declares you are righteous, not because you are without sin but because He has paid the price for that sin and freely gives His righteousness to you.

When the enemy tries to condemn you for your sins just rebuke him with the scripture

of Romans 8:1 above. It will cause him to flee. Rejoice in God's forgiveness!
